Global Crossover LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates Caringly and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Caringly platform at caringly.care.
1. Information We Collect
Registration data: Name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and location when you create an account.
Caregiver verification data: Government-issued ID, professional licenses, Social Security Number (for background checks only), employment history, and professional references.
Payment data: Credit/debit card information processed through our secure third-party payment processor.
Communications: Messages sent through our in-app messaging system.
Usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, and Platform usage patterns collected automatically.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to operate and improve the Platform; verify Caregiver credentials; process Health Credit purchases; enable communication between Users; comply with legal obligations; and prevent fraud and abuse.
3. Background Check Data
Background check data, including SSN and government ID, is transmitted directly to our accredited third-party background check provider under strict data security protocols.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with background check providers, payment processors, law enforcement when required, and successors in business acquisition with notice.
5. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security assessments.
6. User Rights
You may have rights to access, correct, delete, opt-out, and request portability. Contact privacy@caringly.care to exercise these rights. Virginia residents have additional rights under the VCDPA.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies necessary for Platform operation, and analytics cookies to understand Platform usage.
8. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed at persons under the age of 18.
9. HIPAA Notice
Caringly does not function as a HIPAA Covered Entity or Business Associate.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or Platform notice at least 30 days before taking effect.
